Clinical Microbiology · stage 5 of 5

Standing behind the result

A microbiology result changes what a patient is given and, sometimes, who else gets contacted. By the end of this stage you can hold back a result that cannot be right, release the ones that can so they reach someone able to act, meet your public health obligations, and account for every request that came through the door.
