Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using MLTPrep ("the Platform"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Who Can Use MLTPrep

You must be 18 years of age or older to create an account and use the Platform. By registering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. MLTPrep is intended for internationally trained medical laboratory technologists (MLTs) and other healthcare professionals preparing for Canadian regulatory examinations.

2. What MLTPrep Is — and Isn't

MLTPrep is an independent practice examination platform. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by CAMLPR (the Canadian Alliance of Medical Laboratory Professionals Regulators), Prometric, or any regulatory body. Questions are created to reflect the published CAMLPR competency profiles and DACUM frameworks but are not official CAMLPR examination content.

Passing scores on MLTPrep practice exams do not guarantee a passing result on any official CAMLPR examination. The Platform is a study aid only.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@mltprep.com if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.

You may not share your account credentials with others. Each subscription is for individual use only.

4. Free Trial

Upon registration, you receive access to a free trial consisting of 15 curated practice questions per field (up to 5 fields). No credit card is required for the free trial. Trial access does not include timed mock exams, AI-powered feedback, or full question sets.

5. Subscriptions and Payment

Paid subscriptions unlock full access to all question sets, timed mock exams, AI-powered study feedback, flashcards, and all other premium features. Weekly and monthly subscribers receive identical feature access — the only difference is subscription duration (7 days vs 30 days). Subscription plans, pricing, and available fields are listed on the Pricing page and may change from time to time.

Payment processing is handled by Dodo Payments, who acts as the merchant of record for all transactions on the Platform. This means Dodo Payments is responsible for collecting and remitting applicable taxes (including Canadian GST/HST where required), handling billing disputes, and processing refunds or chargebacks according to their own policies. Dodo Payments is an international company and is not domiciled in Canada, though it operates globally and serves Canadian customers. The charge on your payment card statement will appear under Dodo Payments or a related entity name — not MLTPrep. If you have a billing dispute, contact us first at support@mltprep.com; we will coordinate with Dodo Payments on your behalf.

5a. Automatic Renewal

All paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (weekly or monthly) at the then-current price, unless you cancel auto-renewal before the renewal date.

• You will receive reminder emails 7 days, 3 days, 2 days, and 1 day before each scheduled renewal date.
• To cancel auto-renewal, go to Account → Subscription → Cancel Auto-Renewal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. You retain full access until then. No partial refunds are issued for unused time.
• You may re-enable auto-renewal at any time before your subscription expires from the same Account settings page.
• If a payment fails at renewal, we will notify you by email. Access may be suspended until payment is resolved.
• All paid plans include a 7-day money-back guarantee provided you have not completed more than 2 full exam sets. To request a refund under this guarantee, contact support@mltprep.com within 7 days of your initial payment. Refunds are processed through Dodo Payments and may take 5–10 business days to appear. After the 7-day window expires, or if you have completed more than 2 full exam sets, all sales are final. If you experience a technical issue preventing access, contact us and we will work to resolve it.

6. Promo Codes

Promo codes are single-use per account, non-transferable, and subject to expiry dates.MLTPrep reserves the right to cancel or modify promo codes at any time.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reproduce, copy, screenshot, or distribute examination questions or content.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Platform.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the question bank.
• Share your account, credentials, or subscription access with others.
• Use the Platform in any way that violates applicable law.

Violation of these terms may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.

8. Intellectual Property

All examination questions, explanations, competency mappings, and platform content are the intellectual property of MLTPrep. The CAMLPR competency profile framework and DACUM materials are the property of their respective owners; our questions are independently authored to reflect those frameworks.

You are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access the Platform for your own study purposes only.

9. Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or create chargebacks without first contacting us. You may request account deletion at any time; your data will be handled per our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MLTPrep is not liable for:

• Any failure to pass any official examination, regardless of performance on the Platform.
• Interruptions to service due to maintenance, outages, or technical issues.
• Indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from use of the Platform.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email of material changes at least 14 days in advance. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date of updated terms constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction require otherwise.
